Can You Help With the July 4th Picnic?

We hope this year's parade and hotdog picnic are the best ones yet! Last year we served over 500 hotdogs, so we'll be busy! How do events like this happen? By a lot of volunteers joining hands and doing the heavy lifting. Can you help this year?
A few days before, we fill water jugs at the Hall, clean and check the barbecues, and make sure the propane tanks are all full.
We need back-up cooks in the Pavilion - get your food worker card (it's easy) and join the fun! https://www.foodworkercard.wa.gov.
We move all the tables, chairs, and food supplies from the Hall to the Stage, and we'll need lots of trucks and hands to load and unload that morning.
We'll be setting up the kitchen in the Pavilion, moving picnic tables, putting up tents for the ice cream sales, and decorating.
Then there's the take-down and moving everything, including barbecues, back to the Hall - more trucks and more hands!
It really is true that many hands make lighter work - and besides that, it's funner! Please contact Lisa at president@myguemes.org if you have an hour or all day to help.
