About GICCA
GICCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the small island community of Guemes Island. Our mission is to keep the community, young and old, engaged and up to date on everything happening on the island. The purpose of the Association shall be to promote the educational, recreational, environmental, and social welfare of the inhabitants of Guemes Island, by maintaining and operating a meeting hall and and outdoor stage, associated facilities, and properties, hereafter called the Community Center, which shall be for the use of all members. For-profit organizations, private affairs, and off-island organizations may be allowed the use of the Association’s facilities at the discretion of the Board. Our goal is to bring the old and young together, creating a connected and vibrant community.
You are a member of the Guemes Island Community Center Association (GICCA) just by the fact that you have chosen to reside on Guemes Island. Our Community Center has been an island gathering place for over 100 years. Many island events are sponsored by GICCA and take place at our Community Center.
We believe in the power of community. Every individual can contribute to the betterment of the whole, and together, we can create a thriving and supportive environment for everyone on Guemes Island.

Our Vision
