Arik Dahlen the Executive Director of Fidalgo Pool and Fitness is coming on October 5 at 2:30PM to talk about the upcoming levy. If the levy passes Guemes Island will become part of the new Metropolitan Park.

About the Event
The Fidalgo Pool and Fitness Center (FPFC) proposes transitioning from a Park and Recreation District to a Metropolitan Park District. This change would eliminate the requirement of maintenance and operations (M&O) levy vote every six years. With this transition, the district boundaries would expand to be consistent with those of the Anacortes School District, and so would include Guemes Island.
