Resources for Immigrants

Updated: Jun 14

Immigration issues affect us materially as they relate to our food supply, hospitality services, construction and more. They affect our neighbors and residents. All immigrants to the United States have duties and rights embedded in our laws. In both its 5th and 14th Amendments, our Constitution guarantees due process of law to all people in the United States.

The two organizations providing extensive immigrant information in our area are Community to Community (C2C) and Washington Immigrant Support Network (WAISN).

WAISN, a statewide organization focusing on the rights and access of immigrants to basic services, offers information about the rights of immigrants https://waisn.org/kyrice/ as well as guidance to bystanders who observe immigration actions: https://waisn.org/bystander-and-observer-guidelines/

C2C has offices in Bellingham and Anacortes and focuses on Whatcom and Skagit County populations and concerns.
